25 Years of Dedicated Service – A.P.M. Moidu Sahib Felicitated
Janab A.P.M. Moidu Sahib, who served as the General Secretary of the Kannur Muslim Jama’ath for over 25 years with remarkable dedication, was honored by the current leadership of the Jama’ath.
Affordable Physiotherapy Clinic
With the support of the KMJ Qatar Committee and a well-wisher from Thana, Kannur, the newly established physiotherapy clinic was inaugurated by KMJ Qatar Committee President Janab V. Mukthar Sahib. The Muslim Jama’ath launched this clinic with the aim of providing physiotherapy treatment to underprivileged patients at affordable rates.
Free House for the Needy
This year, as always, As part of the “Thala Chaykaan Oru Idam” (A Place to Rest One’s Head) project of the Kuwait Kannur Muslim Jama’ath, the key-handover ceremony of the 8th house built under the initiative is being held.
Empowering the Needy – Self-Employment Initiative
The self-employment assistance program for the needy, organized by the Kuwait Kannur Muslim Jama’ath, was inaugurated by Muslim Jama’ath President Dr. P. Saleem.
Haji O.K. Muhammed Kunhi Award for Students
The Haji O.K. Muhammed Kunji Memorial Award for top SSLC and Plus Two achievers was inaugurated by Kannur Deputy Collector E. Sharafudheen, with support from the KMJ Qatar and Kuwait Committees and well-wishers.
Scholarships for Professional Course Students
As part of the scholarships introduced this year by the Kuwait Committee for students pursuing professional courses, scholarships were awarded to students studying Physiotherapy, B.Ed, and CA. The Qatar Committee also extended financial assistance to students pursuing MBBS, Engineering, and B.Ed courses.

As every year, we honored students achieving full A+ in SSLC and Plus Two exams, with the award presented by Honorable Wakf Board Member Adv. P.V. Zainuddeen.

Free House for the Needy
This year, as always, the KMJ Kuwait Committee built its 8th house, located in Uppayichal, Azhikode, for a poor, handicapped family from Maithanapalli. It was inaugurated by Honorable Corporation Mayor Muslih Madathil.
Honored for 'Arakkal Swaroopam'
The Kannur Muslim Jamaat honored Dr. Muhammed Sirajuddeen (Asst. Professor, Mokeri Govt. College) for his great work on the histroy of Arakkal as "Arakkal Swaroopam" and securing a prestigious doctorate degree from the university.
Honored for Holy Qur'an in own handwriting
The Kannur Muslim Jamaat honored by presented a gift to Shahba Fathima, a native of Kannur City, who is famous for writing the Holy Qur'an in her own handwriting. Kannur Noor Masjid Khateeb J. UP Siddique Sahib presented the gift.
KMJ - Avodha Computer Learning Centre
Kannur Muslim Jamaat in collaboration with Ernakulam Avodha Group started a new computer institute called KMJ -Avodha Computer Learning Centre. The computer centre was inaugurated by Hon. Kannur Corporation Mayor, Adv. T.O. Mohanan. The center was started as a golden opportunity to study various computer courses which offer a lot of job opportunities at exorbitant fees.

A HEMATOLOGY ANALYSER (CELL COUNTER) worth Rs. 233000 / - (Two lakhs and thirty three thousand rupees) was donated by the Kannur Muslim Jamaat Committee Qatar as part of the expansion of the clinical laboratory activities of the Kannur Muslim Jamaat.
